Daily Devotion: Isaiah 37:31

Isaiah 37:31    "And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward"

In order for our lives to bear true fruit of the Spirit, we must be rooted deep in Christ. The energy and ability to bear fruit comes through Him. He said it Himself that without Him, we can do nothing. I believe this is an absolute truth!

 How do we root downward? I believe it is by learning more about Him through study of His Word. Then prayer is an absolute must. Communication with the Lord prepares us to be able to have love, joy, peace, and all the other parts of the fruit.

 May the Lord help us to root downward and bear fruit upward.

Daily Devotion: Psalm 100:1-5

Psalm 100:1-5   A Psalm of praise.
