Psalm 23:1 "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want."
On Tuesday, we went through a beautiful place called, Antelope Canyon. The
beauty of it cannot be expressed in words. But this morning, I want to talk
about our guide. He was patient with us. He was very knowledgeable about the
area. He pointed out things of interest and spoke of them with great passion.
We could tell that he loves that place and receives joy by taking others
through it. He warned us of places to watch for and knew the right times to
stop and let us rest. He showed us the best places to take pictures in order to
help preserve memories. It was an incredible experience as he shepherded us
through that narrow canyon.
I am thinking this morning of the most wonderful guide and shepherd - my Lord
Jesus Christ. If I listen to Him and follow His lead and instructions, this
experience called life can be most wonderful. Jesus knows the places that help
preserve memories of wonderful times in life. If I listen, He explains the
glory of this world and that which is to come. He knows where to tell me to
stop and be still. He understands that times of rest are needed. I'm so
thankful that my soul has the great Shepherd Who leads in paths of
righteousness for His name's sake. Aren't you?
