Galatians 4:10-12 “Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain. Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.” The Galatian churches were already being heavily influenced by those who had come from Jerusalem to bring them under Judaism. In spite of being drawn by the grace and liberty of Christ, they were already observing many of the law customs of Sabbath, feast times, etc. Nelson’s New Illustrated Commentary says concerning verse ten, “The word days likely refers to Sabbaths or special feasts. Months and seasons pertain to longer observances, such as the celebrations between the Passover and the Day of Pentecost.
